2016 and newer models use the GREEN TYPE-II, 9 PIN connector. Does anyone know the pinout diagram of the new connectors? I know that C and D are used for J1939/500Kbps. Its the FG that I am confused about!!

The networks on pins F and G are limited to SAE J1708/J1587

ELD providers have the new cables and/or adapters. I found a few that kinda worked on the interwebs.

But yeah, welcome to 2017 :hello2:

I know that after 2015, some manufacturers don't use the J1708 anymore with the new green connector.

Next time when I will hook up 2015+ truck I will tell you which device uses j1708 ... Trailer's ABS uses j1708 for sure.
