    Hello
I am willing to become a broker on 2 axles tank trailer to haul chemical. I am looking for a 2015-2016 Freightliner Cascadia but I wonder if a DD13 engine with 470 HP, 13 manual speed could be appropriate. If not, what specs must be appropriate please?
    Thanks a lot

Fifth wheel height will be a very important factor in proper weight distribution. If you're planning on leasing on to a company, find out what fifth wheel height they need for their trailers.

In general, a Cascadia with a 470 HP engine and a 13 speed sounds great. You will probably need a pump and/or an air compressor; these will be driven by a PTO on the input side of the transmission.

    baha Thanks this.
