Well we pulled into Boars Head Brooklyn about 0530. We were empty about 45 minutes later. Another driver that had a second stop in Edison, NJ, but was out if hours. So we gave him our empty and delivered his second stop. They reloaded us Boars Head in Edison with empty totes going back to Boars head in Jarret, Va.. We will drop that tonight, go back to Richmond and drop Shawn off. The truck is due for a PM, so I will get that done either tonight or first thing in the A.M and hopefully be home tomorrow afternoon myself. Be safe!

Hope everyone was safe with the crazy weather yesterday down south/west. Thank goodness it looks like it passed by here during the night. Sitting in Walton KY TA waiting for my next dispatch, which I have been told will be coming out of Columbus OH, but haven't been given the particulars yet. Picked up Amazon in Chester yesterday and delivered to Hebron KY. Windy as the dickens all the way out here. Foggy in the VA mountains too. That slowed everyone down! Couldn't see 50 feet in front of you for what seemed like hours, but was just in Shenandoah and Staunton areas. Best run I've had from this company yet. Truck did throw some codes (got a check engine fault light & notified the shop) and no matter what trailer I pull, my ABS light for the trailer comes on most of the time when I brake, but will talk to the shop about it when I get back into Richmond, which I'm sure will be Saturday morning. Hope to sweet talk dispatch into a western run this time and be in and out.:biggrin_25523:

    Stay safe y'all!

These Volvos are notorious for sending a check i engine light if the coolant level isn't to the FULL line. I had the same issue for awhile. Kept my coolant level between full and empty like normal, but in these Volvos they really need to be closer to full. Try that and see if that doesn't help. As far as the ABS light on the trlr..... Right or wrong I usually don't sweat it when it's on the trlr. As you found out that one time it took 5 hours to resolve the issue. Most of the time I will ride with it if it's the trlr. You have to do what you feel best with.

If your headed to Columbus, your must likely going to pu a preloaded trlr of packaging going back down to Sabra in Petersburg. Sometimes they will give you a Pella load out of Murray, Ky. Be safe and hopefully have a productive week.

I dropped Shawn off in Richmond then went on down and dropped in Jarratt, Va. I bob tailed back to Chester and grabbed a load delivering in Mooresville, NC Monday morning. I'm sitting in South Hill taking my 10, and I should be home by 1330 today. Be safe!

Be thankful you didn't get Brett. He hasn't learned yet how to talk to people.

I was in the Marines and I haven't heard expletives that could describe him.

First off Semper Fi! Brett is my dispatcher and he is a jerk. He is very condesinding and I agree he sucks! I'm gonna ask to switch, because I refuse to be talked down to like that.

    Strykor Thanks this.
