Keep in mind the OP never said 1099. It sounds like taxes are deducted.

Im not 1099 just regular pay check

35% of gross after fuel charge I can't claim fuel on taxes im not 1099

Truck broke down last week I was only able to deliver one load for 700. my check was 17 dollars.

Get out of there. I don't see how you as a W2 that you signed for can be billed fuel. Something stinks. Unless that W2 is meaningless and they papered you in as a 1099. -
When I drove for percentage 35 years ago, it was 25% of gross minus brokerage fees.
Is that what the going rate is now, 25% ? -
Basically my boss told me I'm responsible for 35% of the fuel
