Oil back below $89, so diesel should drop in the next few days.

Hopefully it'll be the bottom feeders that run junk equipment and hire idiots.

Ah,,good point, you know, it's not that, poke fun, more of I'm curious what a person is willing to go through to do this job, today, for whatever reason. To me, and drivers like me, the job was a joke, I know, and why, in part, it's so heavily regulated. I absolutely cringe at what's happening, coming from a completely different time. The trucker ( or company) is the FIRST one to take it in the shorts, always has been. It's just the magnitude today that is surely a recipe for disaster. I merely attend the site to see how low the industry will sink, or has sunk, stuff we never thought of years ago. I mean, I spent my working life in the industry, you don't just turn that off. People are pretty ignorant as to where our fuel and oil come from, we've been spoiled for way too long, just fill 'er up. Oil producing nations know that and have us by the grapes.
Another thing, I think the price of fuel should be determined by the mileage you get. Why should I, say in a Prius, pay the same as some gas hog pickup, and why do semis have to pay the same as those annoying diesel fume spewing pickups? :dontknow:

Carpenter Scotty and Diesel Dave Thank this.
