Running Nebraska to California and back now and paying my own fuel taxes .
What western states are the best buy on fuel ?
When I still ran the northeast out of Omaha I bought most of my fuel in Illinois , pa and ny and seldom owed money at the end of the quarter .

Download the FuelBook app it's very simplistic and a great resource.
Just a heads up, you don't have to choose 3 states or interstates. This statment will not make sense until you look at it.
You can choose one state then hit the back button on your phone and get back to the screen that you make your choices from.

Once you've made your choice and hit search it will pull up your choices then you can tap the ' sort ' tab and on that drop down you can click. ' less ifta ' the page will regenerate and show you the price( s ) minus IFTA.
You can truly save a minimum of $100.00 a week with this app.

    Welcome again. Lol
Another tip , if you just hit NEARBY SEARCH before you choose anything it'll pull the mom & pops and anyone else.
You've probably already figured out you need locations turned on on your phone.

    bzinger Thanks this.

$100 in a week ? are you sure? I run from CA to OH, IN , MI and back. I buy fuel where it is cheap. Quarterly run about 30k miles. I do my IFTA and I always pay $180-220 quarterly. how can I save $100 weekly ?

Yes I've track it. But if your one that already pays attention to your true cost of fuel your most likely already achieving that savings.
There are a lot of folks that only look for the lowest billboard price and think they're buying the cheapest.
The FUELBOOK app allows you to view(SORT)price less IFTA.
Again it sounds like you already understand how to.
What I really like is you don't have to do the math in your head , lol and memorize each state's ITTA tax.

For others that are reading this.
You have to pay IFTA tax for the states you run in regardless if you cut a check or pay it at the pump.
The lowest billboard price isn't necessarily going to be your best choice.
To see your true cost you need to remove IFTA taxes either by doing the math in your head or using a good app like FUELBOOK with the app it's very easy to build your own fuel solution.

    bzinger Thanks this.
