Our routes typically operate in Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Dayton, and Columbus. Typically, it's one job per day. Depending on the job, tarps may or may not be needed. All of our work is local/short haul.
Your CDL-A must have a manual transmission endorsement. Our trucks have Eaton ten-speeds.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a basic walk-around inspection of the truck at the start of the schedule.
• Keep the cab clean
• Communicate regularly with dispatchers so they know how things are going.
• Drive defensively and keep a safe following distance.
• Obey the road laws.
• Proficiency with backing trailers into docks
• Fuel the truck when needed.
• Don't be late to pick up/drop off
• Be positive and courteous to dispatch/customers (very important).

Qualifications:

• Have a clean driving record
• Have an active A class CDL
• Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Be able to pass a background check
• Friendly and patient with customers
• Be consistent with showing up on time and delivering on time
• Ability to be flexible with route/schedule changes
