Ok someone posted about that radio being too delicate can't keep up with all the posts or who posted it...my 2cents it's a overrated radio don't care how much power it pushes.... something was kinda like what's up with this radio type deal.... when you run a radio for awhile you kinda get a vibe off it and what it's doing performance wise.... never got much of a vibe off that thing....the more crap that's in a radio the more that can go wrong with it. That kinda stands to reason !!! Big rig series ok ya say so just not in my big rig. That's my honest opinion and that's all yer getting for a buck .98 poo poo on a stick or poo poo in a bracket ???

It's a great radio until it explodes.
They aren't exactly known for a long life even under the best of circumstances

Most reasonable price I've seen on that radio is about $435 before tax. That's a expensive blow up I'd say.... truth be told I'm kinda surprised mark even does or would work on it at all....

It's probably best to use an antenna tuner with that particular radio. I've known about 7 or 8 guys that had them and all of them blew it up at one time or another

I'd be curious to see how he's converting from mosfets over to bipolar transistors without making extensive modifications since they are not compatible with each other

I've been told that a lot of techs turn those radios up too high and with a obvious heat dissipation problem.... you should just reserve a spot at the landfill for it....
