Gaming for truckers

It's good. But really tough. It expects you to die often. But from what I've seen. That is typically of dark souls games.

 

I swear they think any soul game is better than anything else out there. Meanwhile I just sit and play Farming Simulator 22

 

Actually it's my first time in a souls game. It's better than Skyrim in some aspects and worse in others.

 

Is this a good laptop to bring in the truck?

Im not a computer savvy dude but remember hearing the ssd is better at handling the bumps than a disk drive. Anythingthing you might recommend for connecting to my Verizon 5G unlimited data plan (IPhone) would be great too.

Specs are nice, but I do have to mention I had bad luck with my last desktop gaming machine. It was the MSI brand. It would overheat and restart itself. Tech support was non existent. Ended up having to abandon it and bought an Hp which has been great.

Regardless you definitely want SSD. Way faster.

 

Just a rant.

Cities XL Platinum.

I needed a map with a lot of oil resources, for another map that didn't have much oil. So I found one with a lot of oil and started building. Somewhere along the way, I got into terraforming the entire map. Knocking down layers of mountains that was about least 20 to 30 tall. And almost 1/2 the map. Took me two days to flatten the entire map.
So finally, all of that is done. I can make my roads anywhere I want. Put my houses and businesses anywhere I want. Don't have to worry about bridges or tunnels. Life is good.
I get my first oil field up and running. I have like 20 oil tokens to trade. Which I'm going to use to develop the rest of my oil field and add the oil education, which gives me like a 45% bump in oil production.
I'm making like $2500 per second (on 5 speed) before I made the trade. When I hit the trade button, I'm expecting to be making about $60K. But It only jumps up about $500. So I mess with the money slider thingy in trade and it goes to like a negative- $50,000.

There's a bug in this game that I've seen sometimes. And when it happens, I can usually tell at the beginning of the game. So I'll just delete the entire map and start a new. This time, after all the work I did to get the map right, I delete everything on the map. All my houses, businesses, oil fields. Everything. Including the town hall, and start new.
Everything seem to be working fine. I'm up to over 750,000 residence. Making over $100,000 per second. I noticed another city that needed a few manufacturing jobs. So I sent them 3. All of a sudden, I'm losing $126,000 per second. So I take the 3 manufacturing jobs back, and now losing even more money. At last glance, my income is - $136,000 per second. So I paused it. And can't find a thing about this game and this bug online, anywhere. UGHHHHHH......
