Maybe some of these truck stops will start getting a clue and add a decent grocery section? As long as they don't jack the prices up too much like TA definitely would. I've seen some Main Street Markets popping up at truck stops so hopefully this is a trend.

That place is nice. I stopped in there last Friday.

 

There's a stop very similar to that way out west Texas somewhere, I want to say somewhere near where I-20 splits off from I-10. It was a full-on grocery store, convenience store, clothing store...and had flat-screen TVs in the restrooms above very urinal. One of the dangedest things I'd ever seen.

But yes, more of these in truck stops would be a welcome addition. It's built into Kwik Trip/Star's business model (albeit on a far smaller scale), but truckers definitely appreciate having healthier, fresh food options.

my parents used to live in Omaha , west of lumpkin at the river . Very isolated location Until they built the new bridge .

If there’s a Cusetta Alabama I’m not familiar with it .
