Good? Bad? Ugly?
I just got a quote from them for insurance this coming year and it was very good. I consider them an older, established, reputable insurance company but I have never had anything insured with them.
Anyone else out there using them for commercial truck insurance?
Geico insurance? Good? Bad? Ugly?

And, Geico was almost $3k less than my Progressive quote for this coming year.Flat Earth Trucker, Siinman and Big Road Skateboard Thank this. -
But who knows if those brokers will ever allow it again.
I'll be shopping next year. I paid my policy, then one brokerage I use a lot decided no more Progressive for them.
I'm already paid up, so we'll just wait it out -
Cant speak towards CMV but i had them for years on my personal vehicle. Do not recomend. Nothing but poor experinces. What did for me is my at the time room mate added himself to the insursnce as primary payee without my consent then they told me he had to sign to be removed and i had no authority over my own policy.
Dropped them and havent used them.since.Siinman, 86scotty, Sons Hero and 1 other person Thank this. -
Progressive covers open deck guys for water damage now through their cargo plus program. I called when they sent me a letter about it and they said existing members were automatically enrolled in the new program at no extra cost. I was going to be shopping around for new insurance because I've had brokers deny me loads because their old policy.
Ive let brokers I work with know about it and two have called Progressive to confirm and Ive gotten the loads.Siinman and snowmantrucking101 Thank this. -

Progressive wanted $53k for my renewal last November and I got same exact coverage for $25k.
I don’t know the exact specifics but..
Something about Geico doesn’t participate in the exchange of claims data.
I had over $250k in loss runs and they really didn’t care. Mainly due to the claims not being my fault.
