There are no physicals like you would see with OTR outfits. The most physical part of the job is being able to lift the drop hoses to empty them and put them back on the hose tray. The longer hoses can be a little heavy when they are full of fuel.

Thanks Jynxx. I know I can do the job but the physical to get the job is what i was worried about. I did Dollar General stores 6 years ago and the physical was alot harder than the work itself. I am a pretty big guy and alot of people just look at me and assume I cant do the work.

Hello ace98. I'm a big guy too and when I applied for Gemini Motor Transport I was worried that they would look at me and instantly refuse to higher me because of my size but I was completely wrong. Unlike a lot of hiring managers at other companies my weight was never an issue. as long as I could do my job. The most physical part of the job would be when you have to hook up to the ground to drop (ie dropping gas) and that isn't hard at all. Easier than chaining. And if your worried about the DOT physical that is the same for Gemini as for any other company.
Good luck ace98! -
I find dropping gas to be very repetitive, and hard on my body. I'm a local gas hauler so run 5-7 stores on average per shift. I find my elbows, wrists, and knees to ache from the cam locks, lifting hoses, and climbing in and out of the truck many times a day.
bulkhauler and Dinomite Thank this. -

How has this worked out for you since? -
I have just applied for Gemini Transport for a position in NC and KY. Currently, I am with another company hauling crude in WY and getting burned out and want to head back East. I applied on the Loves website....is there anything else I should do? Anybody know who the hiring representative there could be? If so, would you have a contact number for them? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
