    I've hauled skidded coils, generally there's no way to strap them and the blocks seem to hold just fine.

    That said I generally use good boards and 16p nails. Each skid gets 4 blocks (one for each side)

    I don't really like it, but it's legal and works.

    If it’s hazmat they need to go after shipper as well . No paperwork placards unsecured. They have some responsibility too IMO

    I’m sure they shut him down and didn’t let him move. He doesn’t have a hazmat endorsement, so he can’t haul the load. Period end of story.
