Well, I guess the thousands of OTR drivers who live in Georgia will have to move elsewhere. Going to be hard to get home after delivery if I understand the proposal correctly. What motivates these people to come up with such crap and what is their desired end game? Well, you get what you vote for. This is yet another case to support an electoral based system in some state elections. A few Atlanta residents choose to control the entire state how they see fit.

And BTW, Texas doesn't have room for them. Please check with Alabama or Tennessee or Florida for new resident options

Lightweight politicians with absolutely no clue on what to accomplish and acting like power hungry kids in a candy store. Could be some of the worst, non enforcable, waste of time legislation I have ever seen proposed. Next thing you know they will require chains when it is 38° and light sleet. Oh wait.

Just tired of dodging trucks in Atlanta.
You know, presumably, these people graduated high school.
Their ignorance of the Constitution is astounding.

Okay.....a few things seem a bit ambiguous here in the language that I read........I can only guess at what this law is really saying , or what circumstances apply.....I mean, if a tractor- trailer is passing thru Georgia with a pick up in Alabama, does this represent a non- quaifying status? A bit unclear to me the scope of this ammendment

I'm imagining the highways they are referring to are the state highways, state routes. If not, then they don't have a say.
