I have a d13 2018 with 940k mi on it , and i have done a lot of work on it:
570k replaced camshaft , egr , 3 injectors
750 k replaced alternator , starter , batteries
800k replaced clutch , flywheel, clutch solenoid valve and cylinder
900k replaced other 3 injectors
925k replaced engine and injector harness
Truck is running good , def deleted, 6.5 mpg avg in summer 6.0 winter , 3.08 ratio .
I'm planning to replace egr , turbo, radiator , camshaft
I just want to hear some opinions, should I rebuild it in couple of hundred miles or get a new truck?

"def deleted" that alone would have me replace it if it was an option. The places that tend to work on deleted trucks tend to be iffy at best. Additionally your going to have no warranty, so if something goes wrong. Welp good luck its not their problem.

Buy the new generation Volvo. The reliability and fuel savings will have you doing way better than you currently are, even after your payment.

That’s not a lot of work over that many miles. Might be best to get out of it before it really costs you a lot. Stay ahead of the constant repairs that are going to be needed.

If the frame and engine are solid, I would go for a major overhaul — you already know the history of the truck, and there are no surprises with all the electronics. New trucks look nice, but the monthly payment plus all the emissions issues can be a headache. Rebuilding gives you control over what and how you replace. Just make sure you don’t go overboard with the repair shop.

I would not touch a new Volvo/Mack. I wouldn't take one if they paid me.

Is this a ‘weak spot’ for these particular engines? -
