I have a disability at the moment and can’t work. My friend has a business going and going great. But soon his trucks won’t work in California, so I want to buy his trucks and move them to Nevada.
I can’t pay to buy the trucks yet so I’m working on getting my broker license first I’m planning on being an agent.
What do I need to begin?

I have no experience as a broker but I have people giving me advice on being a dispatcher and broker agent.

file for broker authority, then after it’s issued 3/4 weeks, get surety bond of 75k,
good credit be around.. 400-500$ month.
    read the fine print.

BMC-84 refers to a surety bond with a $75,000 coverage amount (or “penal sum”). BMC-85 refers to a $75,000 trust fund that can be established with cash, an irrevocable line of credit or letter of credit, or a combination of these methods.

Not too sure what a brokers license has to do with purchasing trucks.

All your friend has to do is move his business on paper out of CA. Then he can keep operating as usual.

But as has already been said. Being a broker has nothing to do with running the trucks.

Just go to work for TQL and get some experience. Oh, unless you're over 21.

He already has the trucks get the brokers authority and now he takes out the middle man and we both make more money

Would you know if an actual freight broker needs to go to school before starting?

LOL. So you take the place of the previous brokers? And that increases the money how?

I end up becoming the broker? I mean it’s pretty simple I don’t know how you don’t understand that. I invest in the trucks keep them going help him pay for it. Grow a company with dispatchers and agents with trucks.
