@Carlosfreightbroker you don’t have to go to school to ge a broker in the state I live, most recommend it.
can the online classes like $60/month.

Well, i guess i don't know anything about running a brokerage and trucking company. He's using brokers now and switching to a new broker (you). Where does he benefit from that? Where are you going to get the money to pay him? Or just make him wait until you get paid? Little bit more involved than you seem to think.

That’s the biggest problem right now, getting it all started and getting my broker business up. But if me and my friend both invest in both the broker license and authority and then more trucks we have more cash flow and a stable business Once I get more loads and business. Pretty much my friend retires sort of a investor once he wants to stop driving.

I’m not planning on becoming a broker over night, but he does have more than 2 trucks and that can help becoming a broker faster.

can do it anytime you want, might see tips on getting a customer base, unless you have some in mind.

Plus, what is the used truck market in that area going to be like once everyone either moves to NV or shuts down business?

So if he's based in CA and has his own authority then there is no problem with AB5. If he has any drivers and is mis-classifying them then he already is skirting employment.

If he's just leased to a carrier then he needs carrier authority before you could broker loads to him.

In CA certain trucks, I believe after 2012, they won’t be able to be used here. So the trucks my friend has why sell them if we can grow a business and expand with NV right next to us? With a broker on your side it grows yourself and your partners and your future pretty much. Only thing it takes time and money. Which is why I want me and my friend to start this together.
