Getting serious about signing on with W/S

    I'm in the Detroit area and will be using the Taylor terminal as 'home base' so to speak.
    Orientation would be out of Conover N/C.

    Can someone give me a heads up about what to expect?

    What kinda runs will I be making? I heard mostly east of the Mississippi but I really wouldn't mind going further west.

    I should have my HazMat and Doubles before orientation starts. Would getting Tanker be worth it while I'm at it?

    Get the tanker endorsement also; you never know when some excellent tanker job is available, so you will be prepared to jump. I had a tanker endorsement for years while pulling a reefer, then one day a super good tanker/hazmat job was available with another company & I jumped on it with an immediate $15K annual pay jump.
