One of the world’s biggest container ships has caused a massive traffic jam on the both sides of the Suez Canal after it ran aground and blocked the key waterway. The predicament has spawned a hasty effort to refloat the ship.

That big lake in the Suez Canal is where ships have to wait until oncoming ships traffic is clear. Not wide enough for two ships in places. While waiting, hash dealers come to the ships in small boats selling high grade hash.

Oh its real stuck,,,and I would guess they use pilots to navigate the channel....big ship may well have had some big speed. I think the biggest container ship is out of China and and cross to Panama in 4 days

Massive container ship stuck in Suez Canal ‘partially refloated,’ traffic expected to resume shortly
A giant container ship that has been stuck across the Suez Canal for over a day, has been “partially refloated.” Maritime traffic through the important waterway is expected to resume as soon as the vessel is towed away.

On the business news this morning they were saying some ships have already headed south to go around the Cape of Good Hope in order to get shipments to Europe. They are not sure how soon the stuck ship will be freed.
