Yup thinking I'm going to submit a application at poly and see what happens. Hopefully they haven't reached their x-Crete driver quota ha ha. Seems like the grass is greener on the poly side.

We're closing on our house on 2/11. My only concern about coming over there (if offered the chance) is the lag time between your first working day and your first pay day. That could get a bit dicey for wifey and I.

No worry Packard your Crete severance package should cover everything for a while:) #### knocked out 537 miles and one delivery today before I even gave it a thought. Stopped in Post Mills, ID for the night and should be able to make delivery of the final stop around noonish tomorrow. Hopefully that will let me get rolling a tad early while the getting is good out of the NW. Roads and weather have been great barring a couple of stretches of some pretty severe winds earlier today but all in all can't complain about traversing I-94/I90 across ND/Montana/ID in 30 degree weather and no precipitation in January:)

That kind of weather in that area of the country this time of year...perhaps a visit to the nearest lottery kiosk should be in your immediate future. At least drop a donation at the next truckers chapel as a 'thank you'...or maybe that should be the other way around...better yet, both.

NY is part of the hiring area. I encourage you to call or send an email to confirm your area is compatible. I know that we pick up backhauls in your area, so I would think your good.

If that's your only concern then you've got it made. You'll get paid for Orientation as soon as most any company would pay it. Then, you can run right out of Orientation and advance money once you've ran some miles. That's faster than most other places you'll find. I'm sure you've milled over several things as we all do when considering a new job. Pay here is NOT an issue. Time to Anti up and come on. :)

Thanks JD , about to hit dreamland as you refer to it , and got a nice chuckle right before lights out. I had no idea there are installers up there. That's not like an elevator pass in a 1 story is it??? I don't want to look like a freshman 1st day of school.
