Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

The shop got one thing right on my truck...my brand new sleeper windows don't leak a drop. Poured rain all day and my side boxes are dry.

Headed north of Tifton GA to pu going sw of Weatherford for asap Friday. This kind of load I love. Ready to pick up and ready to deliver.

Day 3 and the truck is still purring along fine...Call me Parkay...'cause I'm on a roll.

 

does poly reimburse for paid parking,thought i read on here about 1st nite b4 delivery but cant find it,also will they reimburse for buying tire gauge,and last do we always log central time when changing time zones? thanks and have good turkey day everyone, northeast is gettn nasty weather,had a four wheeler lose it in front of me, we came around curve on 80 in pa and a cop and a wrecker were there with another four wheeler who ended up in the guardrails, my heart was racing for a bit.

 

I would turn in receipt for the tire gauge.

The paid parking is for the Shell truck stop in Sumner,WA only.

Having a great time at home. Will be back in GP Friday afternoon. Leaving GP Saturday morning with a four stopper starting in Plainview, TX Sunday morning & finaling in Grantsville,UT on Wednesday morning.

Backhaul rolled me back to GP. By the time they made the decision and I got to call outbound all the Saturday freight was gone. But when they called me for my Sunday load, John must have offered me loads for at least 5 minutes. Soooooo much better than the "take it or sit" option over at Crete. I'm headed to NM and AZ. A 4 stop.

I made the mistake of shopping at the Grand Prairie Wally at 2 pm on the 1st Saturday after Thanksgiving. Is Walmart-itis a legal form of temporary insanity if I had to strangle someone???....Holy crap that place is a out of control zoo.

 

I was beginning to think Crete was glad I was gone. Many of the former Crete drivers I talk to over here say they called them, emailed them or sent recruiting ads to them in the mail. It's been over 2 months, and I hadn't heard a peep from them....but... after I said that to JD just yesterday...my wife asked me if I was interested in going back to them. When I asked why...it was because Crete finally sent me a "we want you back" brochure. I'm suprised Tonn didn't send me a Thank You card when I left.

 

Its been a year and some since this post. Has their rider policy changed since this was posted?
