Sitting at the house today enjoying a beer and my wood stove. Knocked out a rough 710 miles yesterday including a perfect inspection in Maryland. Heading back out in the morning on the way to Dayton, TX (near Houston) for a Monday morning delivery. Haven't heard from Backhaul yet but hoping to get a load to Vegas and on up into Washington as the weather looks good up that way for several more days.

Well, I'm now up for a good local position close to home, but if that doesn't pan out, my app for Poly will be in the mail in a week or so.
BTW....just to show that shlubs work at all companies...want to give the one-finger salute to the Poly driver that decided to just leave his truck at the fuel island (at the pump) to go in and get something to eat, THEN go park in a slot and chow down. Came back out long after the truck in front of him had left.
This happened this morning at the always-busy Pilot in London, OH (I-70, exit 79). He was in short sleeves, so I guess he was just too lazy to put on a jacket and walk an extra 40 feet. I won't post his truck number out of good decorum. Certainly not indicative of all Poly drivers, but a shlub nevertheless.mushroom1464 Thanks this. -
Hope all goes well with the local gig. Yeah that is one of my biggest pet peeves out here along with ######## being glued to my ICC bumper. SOB that block up the fuel line really piss me off. Too #### lazy to go park their truck and then walk a little further to take care of anything longer than a quick backroom break. I call their company ever chance I get to report their lazy ### although I doubt it does any good most of the time.

Well the normal January freight shortage seems to have found it's way to Poly's available outbound loads. Gave availability notice on Wednesday morning for Sunday in Henderson. Got no call from outbound dispatch on Friday so I will be here till at least Monday. Oh well, it could be worse......I could still be working for Crete. HAHAHAHA...............
