I think we must have gotten some bad fuel or something. Right after I left GP last Thursday, regen light came on. I drove a little while because it says on the visor to drive at highway speeds OR pull over and do a manual regen. I went from the on ramp of 161 onto I30, all the way thru town, up 12 to I35 until the pot-hole city T/A there in Denton. It never went out....so I did a 40 minute regen, and thankfully it did the trick and has been pulling normally ever since.

I almost had one of those TTF worthy accidents...my butt cheeks are still cramping from it holding onto the seat. Rolling south out of Pauls Valley down I-35 this early a.m., traffic was light, pull that grade just south of the OK coops, and get into those little rollers where they cut the road thru the very top of the hills...crest a hill and the last 3 or 4 cars that had just passed me suddenly start brake-checking and heading for the grass...I brake as hard as a loaded truck can stop because there is a 4-wheeler sitting crossways straddling the center line, 2 cars on the shoulder and me and my 102 wide trailer comming at them...people scatter, butt cheeks pucker and I manage to get stopped with about 3 inches to spare on either side of my cab...I hit the 4 ways, get out to see if I can get the right shoulder to move some...and the driver of the car in the road comes up and asks me to move his car for him...WTF? I check, there isn't a scratch on it, it's just sitting in the middle of the road like it was a parking lot, with the engine running. People gather, and he's asking everyone to move his car...I didn't smell booze on him, or any other "certain" odor...so I don't know what was up...unless he was asleep at the wheel and spun out...I didn't chance messing with him, especially in a Poly uniform and in a Poly truck...but told him "let me get out of the way, and you can do it yourself...it's only 15 feet." Meanwhile the crowd had the cops on the way, so I moved...to the Walmart in Ardmore, there was no crash, and there were plenty of other witnesses... I was inside 30 minutes later still so rattled at how close I came to a big time crash that I was wondering around trying to remember exactly why I came in here....oh, that's right...this week's groceries...
