Apparently so. And this is nothing new(Tacoma and Tundra pickup frame issues have been documented for over 10 YEARS now). It seems when it comes to certain salt road environments (especially in the Northeast, where the lions share of these issues developed),the chassis prematurely rusts out to the point where the truck is compromised.
I haven’t seen that issue with any Nissan trucks though.

Boxed frames suck. Its a nice selling feature to tell people but you can't beat C-channel for being able to keep everything clean.

Well it also depends on the rustproof/corrosion protection. I know as early as around 2002 some Dodge Ram models started using boxed frame chassis. However when they were manufactured, they were HYDROFORMED vs. the traditional weld cutting. I’ve yet to see any trucks of that vintage have chassis corrosion issues (the body and paint will give out before the chassis, lol).

I see the same thing happening with GM/Duramax crowds. The laughable part is if they actually take their trucks four wheeling/muddling and they get stuck,it’s usually a Ford or Dodge that pulls them out!

The brand doesn't matter. They are all toolbags doing the same thing. Same gay ### trucks just a different emblem on the grill lol. They are very similar to the WRX dbags, visor on sideways, vaping so hard, etc

Try telling that to some of those clowns. Heaven forbid should you show up in a Tundra or Titan to pull someone out!! Sacrilege !! They would rather STAY STUCK or wait for someone else rather than have a “Japanese truck”pull them out!;)
