I found it really stupid for them to be out there picketing in front of a plant that’s been closed for months. What is that going to do?

@buddyd157 see the wire going from the tcm to the strut tower? If you ever find a Cobalt that is stuck in limp mode showing no response from the tcm this is the $2 fix. The way you can check for it is the tcm housing will show voltage due to the ground in the main harness crapping out. IMG_20191011_175312260.jpg

Cobalt coupes are still popular with some of the younger drivers-in particular the SS models-both the supercharged and later turbocharged models. I see plenty of them when I go on the Make A Wish Foundation Kancamagus Cruise in New Hampshire.

that reminds me of the 1980's models big buicks.(Le Sabre's and Park Ave's) they would die cruising on the highway.

they found that the car needed an extra ground from the gas tank to the body...apparently the ground for the fuel pump just was either too small or just ineffective.

I for sure would not be buying a new vehicle with those insane prices.

Some of the Diesel pickups loaded are approaching $80,000-$100,000 cnd and have a 8 year payment plans.

I drive a 1997 Dodge Ram Cummins that’s paid for and works very good.

I just bought a 2007 8 passenger Durango hemi recently as a second vehicle. Paid for as well.

And I’m the only person in either them.

Also, I walk a few minutes from home to the trucking company I work for....

The price of a new pick up truck has passed
    By the working middle class.
It's upper middle class and up at those prices.

10 year loans on vehicles should be against the law.
Sometimes you have to save the people from themselves.

I can't believe they are doing loans that long on "normal" cars now. When I bought my Porsche they had options like that while still not a good idea in my opinion at least a car like that won't depreciate as hard over the course of the loan. What is a ten year old pickup worth vs a new one lol.

It's the only way they can sell that truck to,15 dollar an hour Billy bob, who has to have that big new pick up
    Truck.
He has to have it. It's his life's dream.

I know guys who live in them.
They choose the truck over a roof over thier head.
    They can't afford both.
Throw in a couple hundred for full coverage insurance,
    And 12 mpg.
Your looking at a grand a month,to look cool.

I have a couple trailers on my property that I rent.
I wont rent them anymore to anyone who has payments
On a new car and especially a new pick up.

They pay for the vehicle first all the time,
    And you get whatever's left.
After they get kicked out, they know they can
    Sleep in the truck.

You know why 4 door pickups are so popular.
Because most of the people who buy them new
Will be sleeping in that back seat

If they allow 60 year payment plans, then I can almost afford to buy my favourite car, a brand new Bugatti Chiron at $4,155 a month for 60 years.

Since I walk to work, the car doesn’t have to move much other than to fetch a few groceries, keep that fuel tank topped up and keep the police nervous.
