Going from a aero truck to a hood

    Bumper guides with lights at the top will help you to know where that hood stops and will save the bumper from getting bent. Voice of experience.

    You know, I never had any issue knowing where the hood stops on a 379 or W900, or even this Western Star 4900 I'm in now. Never had sissy sticks on any of them. But put me in a Freightliner Columbia and watch what happens. Can't even see a hood in them things. Perhaps that's why most of the ones I see are smashed in some way.

    With my 53 yrs behind the wheel what does that make you. Bumper guides are a safety item as far as I'm concerned.

    Me personally I think they look kinda nice with a really beefy guard think they call them moose guards and the rookie light sticks.
