I pull around 105,500 it's time to put a new Tranny in my 2007 T800 C15 18 speed due to a hired driver taking a gear out. Has anyone retrofitted an 18 speed autoshift plus into there standard 18 speeds??

Shops are saying 10-12hrs for a tranny-clutch-rear seal install so if I could get into a autoshift plus for say 2-3K more I would be happy to try it. But not sure it can even be done??

    Thanks for your time.

I'm waiting to hear from Eaton to see if I can replace my 10 over with a 18+.

Not sure if the software in the engine would be compatible with the new ultra shift plus. You would also need to change harnesses and everything else. Probably cheaper to rebuild or install a reman.

Ask Mr. Haney if he knows a solution to this dilemma. Since he's been a tuning guru for these engines and newer models, he'd know how to work around this if anyone would.
