I'm sure this has been covered before however I can't find a concise answer. We're a small motor carrier looking to get authorized to cross the border. My husband has crossed the border many times while leased to a company, so we're familiar with the process to cross, what we don't know is the documentation/permits needed as a company to be able to cross under own own authority. I've read the first step is to get the CCCC (carrier code) from the CBSA. However on their website they talk about Bonded and Non-Bonded carriers, etc. Can someone with their own US authority crossing to Canada shed some light on how to get permitted to go in? Thanks!
