I don't even know where to begin. This shady Lithuanian company has dispatchers that will tell you to get to your pick up five to six hours earlier than your regular appointment time.after that you will get a phone call from the safety manager who tells you to use personal conveyance to get to the pickup and then after you're loaded drive 10 minutes down the road and log in.if you so much as question them or rub them the wrong way they will tell you to bring the truck to Chicago to the yard because they need to talk to you at which point a take their truck back and leave you stranded.and then if you think you're getting any of your escrow money or any of the last paycheck that you earned think again. They also operate under a few more different names one of which is Goldway. I wish somebody would read this and have the proper authority to shut these people down.
Goldway transport, Streamwood, Illinois

So many red flags....
Chicago
escrow
specific ethnic group
multiple names
likely a 1099?
And that's before they required you to run illegally. At what point are there too many red flags to walk away before the first run? -

Hopefully you end up landing on your feet driver. If your record is good enough, you can avoid the 1099 jobs. Those 1099 companies in Chicago definitely play by their own rules. If you gotta do something to clean up your record and get some income for a period, I get it....but you gotta get out asap.

Streamwood now?? These 1099s are spreading like wildfire!!

We hear about Chicago a lot because of the immigrants but you gotta understand here in Vegas I see many guys from down south running trucks with 1099 drivers.
It’s best to stay away from 1099 jobs completely. -
