Good headset for truckers

I had the 450. It's not a big improvement I like how when you get in and out of truck and you need to reconnect with phone. You can just push the square power button and so far mine has always repaired to phone. It has a voice saying "Headset is Connected" That was problem I had with 450 and older models. I had power off headset and power back on to connect to phone again. It has other voice recognition stuff it can do but it very limited. Google assistant voice is 100% better. So I just push the power button once on headset to open Google Assistant. You can get them cheaper on Amazon vs paying truck stop prices. Another thing I like was the ear piece. It's not flimsy like the 450. The ear pad material seems better quality and it can't turn around because the ear piece has a V shape to it kinda. It seem better built and little less bulky

im done using bluetooth the convenience doesn't make up for the fact youre putting electrical signal's straight through your brain

 

I can't disagree, but sometimes these kinds of websites hacking books don't tell the full truth. Next time you make a trip on almost any freeway in the US take a good look at all the cell phone towers all along the freeway. The EMF radiation you are getting exposed to from these things dwarfs Bluetooth. In the 21st century, the only real way to avoid EMF is to go and live in the remote desert in a home with lead for walls.

yeah i realize, but having bluetooth headphones literally inches from your brain all day doesn't sound like good idea to me. bluetooth is only a few years old they really have no data on long term effects

 

In this case, you have two choices. Getting a wired headphone to use, OR using the speaker option on the phone. Placing the phone next to your ear is just as bad if not worse than the Bluetooth.

I am retired now. I am also suffering from Epilepsy. I have EEGs done every 8 or so months and a 24 hour EEG done once a year. I use Bluetooth and have a zagillion cell phone antenna horns close to my residence. All my EEGs show no real difference.

This is strictly my personal opinion and I can't back it up with any links. I think EMF will become another of those things like cancer. Just about anything you eat has been shown to cause cancer. I think EMF radiation can be dangerous, but I do believe this is only theoretical at this point and I won't live my life fearing everything I don't fully understand.

I respect your choice to avoid Bluetooth. I won't.

 

can confirm 1000%. These are the only ones that have worked for me and not made sweaty ears, headaches or have to take it off. I can drive 11 hours with the blue tiger Pacifico (gel cushioned ones) and it works amazing
