“Numerous indicators of criminal activity” were spotted during an initial search...

One would think, with 40 million in the box, they would have been a bit more careful.

 

Nice to have good news.

 

I doubt they were Canadians….

 

For years, Wyoming and Nebraska used to set records for busting smugglers on I 80, they'd look for "signs", California or New York plates, young males travelling alone, driving too cautiously or driving just right, until they make that one mistake that makes the cop go HMM

 

If you don't control your borders you have to invade every citizen's personal space to stop the crime.

 

I used to get pulled over on I80 just east of Sparks, NV on a regular basis. We were importing tropical fish through SFO and running them back to the farm in Idaho. Usually just rented a minivan, and we fit the drug runner profile exactly. Rented van full of boxes with a single male driver.

Got to talking to a state trooper during one of the stops, and he told a story where he’d pulled over a Hispanic “family”…….except the guy didn’t know the names of the kids, lol. “Please step out of the vehicle, sir”, lol.

That said, dollars to donuts this was an interdiction, not a random stop.

 

Could've been the latin Canadians i mean there's french ones too . ??
