Here's the pros and cons:
Pro -
1 - I have never made less than 1k a week since joining Knight
2 - The dental and vision insurance is wonderful.
3 - I have always been able to get home in time and whenever I wanted to go home.
4 - No forced dispatch
Cons -
1 - The sitting duck policy is one of the most unfair policies in knight.
2 - They do not recognize LGBT rights and do not recognize domestic partnerships for riders and insurance.
3 - The health insurance is a total waste of money. I'd rather wipe my ### with the money I don't spend on it.
4 - Some people think it has a bad reputation yet they only point out an instance here or there and the people that did something as stupid as what they did they deserve all they get.
5 - Be very very careful around Fontana drivers, they are snitches. In fact, avoid Fontana, the people there all the way to the gate guard are ########.bert57nc, tommy36years and getn2it Thank this. -
I'll add one pro and one con to HBT's list
Pro
The trucks are fairly new.
Con
You have to stay on top of your pay, they miss a lot of reimbursements. -

I hated Fontana, and only went into the yard if I 'had' too!!! -

BTW, how's the toe? I had both big toenails removed in HS and early 20's that were ingrown & infected (lots of puss). And altho I've broken ribs, ankle, fingers, etc., since then, nothing was more painful than stubbing an ingrown toenail..ouch, can feel it even now! (And I also worked and learned to live with my last 2 yrs @ Knight with a torn rotator cuff gotten when closing the door on a 14' trailer during the winter and while fighting the wind...and I was working out & in good shape at the time). Working 'thru' injuries is a must for a long-term trucking career!tommy36years Thanks this. -
