When we need extra trailers we go to one place in Indy. They charge us $350 a month for any trailer that they have. Could be a well used flatbed or a brand new one, same price.

I am considering renting my extra trailer as well. But I am concern about damages and having to repo if non payment. There is a huge demand for flatbed trailer rentals because unless your company can rent or lease one to you, you will have to buy one since most rental companies will not rent to un established businesses. Just being in business for 2 years will not count. Your business must have establish credits for at least 2 years.

A few months ago when i wanted to rent a trailer, most of the ads on craigslist having trailers to rent to o/o were all rented out and there were a long wait list.

Have the renter insure the trailer and put some sort of GPS on it.

What if you sign a lease agreement with a rental company and have them rent it for you? The market base would be bigger and if they lease it from you then some of the responsibility is on them. Just a thought, not sure if it is possible.

My guess is he's thinking of a GPS navigation unit (Garmin) instead of a GPS tracker unit (Rhino)

I love ravens for what they have done for me, but if shes tired and all beat up from good honest work, sell it and be happy. Don't rent and run into complaints that will overrun your money more than you expected.

I know what a ravens can do, if I can use one I would just go buy it ready to get a coil or two on there. I don't need to rent one.
