Plenty of local jobs. The Mitchell area or out around Rapid City has a tons of dump work. There’s only a handful of spots that the rock comes from for road construction, the main ones are Spencer and Rapid City. With the right company the dump work would be one or two long trips a day, plus it doesn’t slow down much in the winter because they’re stockpiling for the following year.
There’s also a lot of ag related work. And freight companies as listed earlier. The downside would be running around 150-200k gross loaded depending on what you’re doing and how many axles you have. Even the freight companies pull big doubles a lot of the time.Zonno Thanks this. -
