Good Trucking Schools in Oregon

There is no Ivy League in trucking schools. You need a 160-hr training certificate and experience backing a 53’ trailer (some schools only train with 28’ trailers). As long as the school offers those two things you are good to go.

160 is a good school. Majority of trucking companies that hire new cdl school grads, will hire from the 160 school.

 

This one, the school is in Portland and after graduation you'd be assigned to the terminal in Eugene.
Paid hourly pay while in the school. One student said he got $18 hr. for 40 hr. week, but that may be different depending on the terminal where the school is.
CDL school is free to you plus meals and lodging provided and hourly pay.

Terminal is in Portland, but hires from all over the state. Can run regional or OTR and also has line haul.

Roehl Transport hires new cdl school grads from 160 school and also has their own cdl school. If you attend their cdl school you'll be paid $616.00 a week while in school.
