@KaoMinerva if im not mistaken seniority stays. OD told me they were going to call me once they get busy. Im also a bit concerned, if I do get hired with estes and theres no work they usually send people home. As a right now they are hiring on both terminals here in Houston, I like to think they got work and they are not overhire people just for the sake of it.

Either way, I recommend going extra board. No cap on your money and I highly doubt BOTH those terminals have nothing. They built West Houston for a reason... Recently. I remember they banned us from going to Houston. They had so much incoming that they had unlimited OT and we're sending freight to other terminals to break it and send back.

Tell them in the interview. As long as you get in that's all that matters for now. Better than being unemployed. P&D just doesn't make anywhere close to what we do is all. Not that's it bad

Wait until the summer hits and it's unlimited warning potential. I ran 136K miles last year and gross 84.6K. that's the most legal money I've ever made in my life

Didn't know things were that jumpy with ODFL down in Houston. I've been perusing their job section and there's really not a whole lot of openings that won't require a big relocation. Of course the one's that surprised me and made me kind of consider were some linehaul openings in Elko NV and Richfield UT of all places. I'm guessing it's another relay point for turns and they just need some drivers out there for that just because.
I finally got some call back myself for the Saia positions I applied for. See if that one pans out in ABQ like I was gunning for. Apart from that, I'm waiting for a local shuttling company to call me back, in addition to jumping onto a part-time/casual relay gig up in Amarillo to keep me in the black.
Current company I've been at the last, 3+ years is going all totalitarian more than I'd like and it's time to dip. Money's good, but workaholism, not so much
