Got my CDL A Permit, now it's time to train...

Nice job on getting your permit! you can check around for some of the "CDL mills" as people refer to them round here. Like Schneider, Swift, Werner, CRST, CR England just to name a few all have their own schools/ accept first time drivers. But any of them that have a school would of gotten you your permit as well. Dont look at it as wasted time tho. think of it as being ahead of the curve GL!

 

dude there's tons of info just search. with crst you have to team drive, even after training, cr england HEAVILY pushes a lease (i mean they all do) but cr england has an extremely notrious rep for pushing the lease and if you don't they pretty much can you or make you quit. with werner or swift (i forget which one) you have to go to az, transfer you license and then come back in state to transfer back.

What chu do please find a ptdi certified school if you can get the

State 2 pay for it even better don't go to a driver mill school

There are a slave master system with contracts after you finish training

And the pay is horrendous you'd be bedder off stayin @ home find a

Fastfood job than puttin up with there bs

Especial Werner,CREngalnd,Crst all horrible,horrible,horrible

Read the good and bad trucking company threads

Make a list and eventually it will get smaller with time

Also read rollover the originals threads

About BFIs or bottom feeder inc.

And what u need too know before u quite that pos company

Most of all there is alot of hot air in these forums so beware

Butt also pay attention too the occurance of the same complaints
