Seems like at least once a month jb hunt calls me lol. Are they that desperate to fill Seats. I never had a company literally beg me to work for them. They are like telemarketers. I'm pretty happy where I am and have no reason to leave, especially not going to a mega like jb hunt. There must be a reason they call monthly, if they were retaining drivers they wouldn't be calling the same guy month after month. I think the whole thing is just a little bizarre.

They always try to throw this "career" sales pitch at me. If working at jb hunt is such a career why do you keep calling the same guy that only expresses a luke warm interest? Why are you obviously having such a hard time filling seats?

"We are expanding at such a rate that we just can't keep all the seats filled!" Or some bs like that.
Like you say though, with a turnover rate of greater than 100% they need to keep those trucks moving somehow.
Plus, if you are expressing a lukewarm interest, the recruiter is thinking "Hey, if I keep calling him. one time he will be irritated at his company, and I might hook him then."
It's just mean to keep the recruiters hopes up like that. Keep it up! :)

Tell them that you will require $30/hr for every moment you are working.

That's what I do wait to get loaded. As long as I am where I need to be, I'm good. I'm getting paid hourly so I'm happy.
