Got sideswiped by pickup truck with trailer attached

I'd have told him to blow it out his ###.

 

I would save every convo between you and safety just for your own safety. Save absolutely every piece of paper you get and document it now that you weren't at fault. Also save your convo with dispatcher etc. If they try saying it was your fault I'd fight it because that's a considerable amount of damage.

 

Wonder if it'd be worth keeping a copy of the video too?

 

Probably because if safety said it was 50/50 they may put it on his DAC . Least video may help redeem him later if he switches companies.

 

Unless you have a camera in the truck to prove other wise. You the CDL holder will be at fault. Sad to say.
