    hey all

I've been stripped of my CDL because apparently i have no Medical on file

I started a job with CR England 2 years ago for training, then I left to work with my cousin who is an Owner Operator

I took 2 physicals. One with England, and one when I worked for my cousins company.

Apparently the DMV didn't get the second one on file, and only have the first one and the first one has expired..

A year hasn't passed and apparently it's been expired for a month however my second physical is still active and doesn't expire until July. My question is, if I fax my VALID physical or let DMV know that I had no idea the Owner Operator had to turn in the physicals, will they reinstate my liscence?

Will there be a hassle? Cause I have a valid paper copy and small form saying it expires 7-26-2017

I had all my endorsements and everything as well.

I'd go straight into the Dmv office with your copy and have a face to face conversation

It can be reinstated. You just have to go through "the process". Lesson learned?

If I'm not mistaken, an MVR report on a CDL will indicate current medical status.

Every truck driver who relies on their CDL for their livelihood should pull their own MVR at least once a year just for good measure. Crap happens.

I recommend looking at it 2 months after a new medical was [supposed to be] submitted just to make sure. And don't always trust your carrier to do it [properly].

Did California not send you a warning notice prior?

    The process?

And that's the whole thing, I got my MVR checked and they told me my Medical was expired

Here is the way I do it in ohio. I go to the DMV and have them do the process. It cost me $5 and I get a conformation paper. (Receipt) don't rely on your employer to do it

@Mark Kling explained this recently. It's a simple matter to resolve, but Mark is the expert on the fine details of many subjects.

Should keep up with the rules.
You had to go to the DMV to have it added to your license.
And everytime you renew your physical.

    Just passing by Thanks this.
