Well that's a bummer for some I suppose ...but in 2050 I'll be 86 so unless diesel becomes the fountain of youth I'll probably not worry about it much .lol

No doubt in my mind that they will be gone 30 years from now.

I’m sure all the coal fired generating stations will be much better for the environment

Once again “Calif***ya” has lost its mind.
How are they going to ban diesels when most of the public transportation uses it as well (city buses, commuter railroads that use diesel electric locomotives) not to mention buildings that use diesel generators if or when the power grid goes down?

Electric self driving trucks are the wet dream of every major carrier. So they don’t have to pay those jacked up taxes in Cali.

They think the homeless are a problem now? Just wait lolol. It will be a full on third world combat zone.

And we’ll be discussing building a wall ;)

Even before alternatively powered trucks become more established, the government will have implemented a way to get their tax money from them.

True. The electric cars are already causing budget issues for some. Hence the consideration of a per mile tax.

I suspect when Cali finally passes that. You’re going to see massive migration, worse than it is now.

Aww man I'll only be 59. Of course by then I'll be in a plastic spaceship looking contraption that drives itself anyway and I'm just an object of blame for any electrical failing components so the added humiliation of electric motor will hardly be cause for concern.
I'll just buy a coke, honey bun, and pat my expanding belly as I wheezingly pull up my sweat pants and slap the concrete with my flip flops and peer around at all the young bucks and say, "Ya, y'all wouldn't believe what I used to drive."

It's great seeing everyone that comments without reading and comprehending what's written
