Maybe just look at the back of the unit,I have a TND 720 and clearly shows Made In China Duh.
I have taken both my TND 700 and 720 apart and am not impressed by the workmanship, maybe the better option would be to get a good quality tablet 7 or 10in and load CoPilot truck on it.
Maybe someone who has tested the Garmin-TND-CoPilot can tell us who has the most accurate maps and best routing and that would be the one to get.

Yeah your right they are made in China. So is almost everything we own today. Hondas are more American then ford or Chevy or Cadillac anymore. The units are programmed in America though.

haven't tried garmin or tnd. i've been very happy with copilot and wouldn't even think of trying something else.

i think it could be better in some instances. but it hasn't steered me wrong either.

It is always good to google the maps though, even with the Rand McNally, esp if you are driving on city street. Scroll in and watch for railroad tracks which may have a trestle over the. Watch for city streets that are mostly residential too. Stay on US route # if you can. Expect some anomalies. Joplin, MO has the exit 8 which says one thing on Rand, shows something else on google maps.

If Rand can't find the address, sometimes you can use another business or house address on a side street, this is where google maps comes in handy..

What I'll do If it can't find the exact address is I'll hit list and use the one closest to the address. Then I'll check google maps and see here that "range address" from the list will put me at. Normally the list address is fairly close.

Yes if it has a range, it might would helps some.

Husband has had I think a Tyson, in Carthage, MO, that was totally on the wrong road, not even close.

Sometimes using shippers directions, exit #'s and street info can be used to correlate maybe where you are going to.
Some you just know it is there somewhere. And I know a lot say call the shipper/receiver for directions, but this too cannot be counted on, no one answers phones 50% of the time.
