    It's the same as hauling anything else, only it's different.

    Loading on the farms is generally pretty good. Off loading at elevators and processors can be excruciating. Two to three hour line ups are not uncommon.

    It's not all bad. Just some days are like that. Other days you are in and out in under twenty minutes. Six minutes is the fastest I got loaded including the paperwork.
    Although we always plan on an hour, tends to average close to that.

    Earlier this fall, had a friend of mine was in line for 7 hours to dump 1 load of soybeans, if not for the long lines during harvest season it's not bad

    Grain rates aren't to great right now. Depending on what kind of trailer you are using end dump vs hopper and finding loads to bring back to the area you are loading to take to the terminals is the trick. I run a hopper, but plan on putting a wet kit on my truck so I can pull our dump and hopefully find some loads going both ways so I'm not running empty 1/2 the time.
