I had a opps today, I was on a road in my tri axle dump, It was my bosses show truck, Yes, Well i came around a turn, I was loaded heavy to one of the sides and bang, truck rolled and slid a good 200 feet, I was sited for driving at safe speed? SAFE? that makes no sense, But the one im most concerned about is the "Rolling of a commerical truck" Its a 2000 dollar fine, I wasnt speeding or doing anything i wasnt suppose to, They checked the black box, Im perfectly clean, Everyone said the load shifted and made the truck tople, How do i go about fighting this ticket? and will it affect my career as a driver? and where it gonna show up? DAC? MVR? Help guys please im only 22 i dont want my career ended cause of someone elses mistake

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Are you sure you are reading the report correctly ? Something does not sound right.

Well maybe you weren’t speeding but you may have been going to fast for the conditions. Remember, the center of gravity is very high on a dump truck. Loaded properly it is still very top heavy. I drove dump truck and when it was loaded, most times I was driving 15 to 30 mph under the speed limit on a corner. It’s best to talk to a lawyer about your situation. If it happened on a public highway it will most likely be a DOT recordable. I’m thinking the outcome wont be in your favor. Good luck.

I would not argue with 'non-reportable',just not sure of the 'safe speed'deal. Also, 2 grand fine for an accident like that does not sound right.
I see it as your fault. If the load was higher on one side, that is your responsibility.Loading a truck correctly is always the drivers job. Do not blame that on someone else.

You will have a hard time getting another job at your age,I am afraid.

Im not sure if i lost my job or not at the moment, And when i left the yard, the truck was loaded towards the pass side but wasnt affecting anything so i let it go. then it showed its ugly head. Im hoping the judge will throw out the 2 grand fine. that will end my driving career.
