Had lunch with someone in the know at Werner the other day .

    I mostly sat and listened to the banter of 3 other people and I'm in no way involved with Werner !
    What I learned was clarence Werner was unhappy with company growth and fired 4 top executives including one of his sons .
    They are dumping 1800 trailers and in the process putting all the old caseing recaps on them .
    Clarence has re asumed the helm and plans to aggressively add trucks to the fleet .

    That's not all that's happening over there. One of their drivers told me the other day that the company was taking a stand against the LGBT community. He said everyone got a message that it would not be tolerated. Drivers were advised that if they were caught being LGBT, the first offense would be a written warning. A second offense would be a 3 day suspension, and a third offense...well, they paint your truck blue.

    COMPANY DRIVERS KNOW EVERYTHING DONT YOU GUYS KNOW

    I just got off the phone with the board of directors for JB Hunt and they told me that they are going to move all the trash cans in the office to the opposite side of the room to promote exercise PLUS they are going to FORBID gum chewing in their daycabs starting August 1st.

    I have been told I cant say what else they are doing.

    Thanks Chinatown ! Suppliers are good sources of info if one smiles shuts up and listens .
    Doesent make it factual thow ...used to gather the dope around Werner when I delivered they're fuel and my father in law sold them cat engines .
