This day last year. That's right! We should commemorate that momentous change, somehow I survived. I think I should fix myself a drink.

Where did 4 dol per mile rates go?

All I got for my anniversary was the FMCSA telling us we won't need one. Until we do need one. If they decide we need one. When they decide.

Critters don't care, so I guess we'll just keep the ELD. Just to stick it to the man.....

I’m on paper today. Mine took a dump sometime during the night. Dispatch says it’s showing red since 8am yesterday. IE I haven’t stopped driving in over 36 hours

    Super Trucker ;)

One thing to ask now is whether or not I'd rather go back to paper logging...
Yes, Yes, Yes, Sure....would be my answer.
Second question as the consequence of the one above would be if that is so because of ability to falsify HOS logs. Well...do you really have to ask...? would be my answer.

One of the examples of elogs having impact is the fact that this year I spent $380 on reserved parking, that's ok - I can afford it but before I did not spent even 1/4 of it. Add at least 4 times I went to motels...tired of truck stops - about $300. My elog subscription is $360, already over $1000 someone is taking away from me. Don't worry... I could come up with $3000, if I thought harder.
Is it not a great thing for so called governmental interventionists - I am one of the million who made a genuine transition- definitely an economy booster. I am honored to participate.

I've heard very few legitimate reasons against ELDs. mostly the ones who don't like it are upset they can't cheat anymore. If you say you can't make money on Elog, you're wrong. I'm not getting rich but I live comfortably.

If it was just an electronic log that would be simple and less problems. Total your hours,etc...

    But noooo

It's the ten layers of government tracking in the details that create the issues, bugs..
