As usual, your GP operations crew is simply..... I don't know. words escape me,lol... My FM decided the day before the holiday would be a swell time to decide his truck had to get it's PM done. It was overdue to be sure. But when you relay on the GP shop, you soon learn to stay far, far away. The FM's poor decision, that for all I know may have come from a higher pay-grade, ensured that my holiday plans with family would be Fubar. My hometime was scheduled for thurs/fri/sat. The result: I lost half of Thurs to driving. I'm about to go deliver a load in OKC today. So, I guess I'm off til Monday. No doubt they will whine and moan about that, without accepting any responsibility for their contribution to the operational timing failure. The driver is the only one who loses on these deals. The computer commandos get paid the same irregardless of how things are fouled-up...
