While I see alot of posting on this website about how much one should be makeing, I have as yet seen any hard information posted about rates that are actually being made either by O/O or CO drivers. Prehaps this will get it started:
My truck is a 2003 Columbia (freightliner) leased to Tango Transport located in Shreveport LA. Following is pay rate and charge backs:
.90 cpm loaded/empty + FSC (currently .25/mile) [updated every mon]
Paid plates (can run your own and will be paid $24.00/week)
    Paid permits
    Scales paid
    Tolls paid
Prepass paid (or mine is anyway lol)
    Lumpers paid {not deducted from settelment}
Comdata for fuel ( cash price + .02 discount)
No trailer rental (don't know if you can use your own)
Detention/Layover paid (if they feel like it, don't get it 1/2 the time)
Free truck wash at terminals (not automated actual person washes truck)

Now for the charge backs (deductions)

1.00 each time you use comdata card

    Qual comm 12.50/wk

Physical damage Ins (depends on amount wanted can also use your own) avg. 35.00/wk

Bobtail/deadhead Ins (can use your own) 7.38/wk

    Occ/Acc (occupational [workers comp]) 40.38/wk

Fuel Tax (no cost to get figured) monthly avg. 100.00

There, now that's some hard numbers.
Freight consists mostly of Fed-Ex, GM, paper, air conditioners for the flatbed part of the company, and of course the good ole brokered loads.

With these kids of posts, we as a group would know which companies to do business with. Oh yeah, NO I AM NOT A RECRUITER..LMAO..get that out the way before it even starts!!

Yes, .90 cpm on all miles. Loaded or empty. Occ/Acc is equivilant to workers comp. Some states require this some do not. I am also self employed as a contractor

hub miles? practical miles? short miles? and about how many do you average per week?

how much do you think you save on insurance through your company - as opposed to running on your own authority?

how long have you been with them and how do you think you're doing financially?

    thanks
