And would anyone in their right mind buy a running truck with mbe4000 and this many miles on it? Your experiences are appreciated. And would anyone buy a 07 KW T600 with 1.2 million miles (currently a working truck w/APU)?
Has anyone heard of a 2006 Western Star 4900 with mbe4000 engine with 2 million miles & no eng work?

Don't know about the Western Star but I definitely wouldn't buy a truck with 1.2 million miles on it. There's a lot of people that say it doesn't matter how many miles if it was maintained properly I'm just not one of them.
In trucking you always have to plan on going bankrupt next year, lol and the resale value of a truck with 1.2 million miles on it is not real good. -

Bought it with 1.35 mil, drove for 3yrs, added 330k miles plus 15000 idling hours to engine. If I bought it for $15K and rebuilt motor for $18K, is the EF 10 spd Ultra shift Transmission next?? -

Well let’s do some math 15000 hours idle in 3 years. There is only 8700 hours in a year ,to rack up 5000 hours a year and get 100000 miles these numbers mean that the motor was never shut down so I’m saying the seller of the star car is LYING. Run away fast.
