I seen an old cracker box the other and it was working pulling a flatbed. It was a total restoration. Couldn't get my phone up fast enough. I'll see it again and try for pic.

i haven't restored a truck yet. been running older trucks for a while now though. just about to start a restore project on a 359 pete. its going to be a lot of work but it should be worth it in the end.

I have a 74 900A i got for $1200 no title. Runs great, not sure what ill do with it when other projects are out of the way. I built an 86 IH 1654 into a pretty potent toter. Still have it.

I see a lot of nice cars/ Trucks. A fool and his money, anything can be had. I’d rather see a work in progress, rolling down the road. All the old classic cars are in mint condition now, or hidden away somewhere.

Wow, there's a lot there that I've never seen before. I must have spent an hour on that thread looking at all the old trucks. I had no idea of the old "coffin" sleepers.

Thanks for the posts guys! Still would love to see a restoration with pics throughout the process. Maybe there's one in truckerdads thread...its taking me awhile to get through it!

I have never restored any old tractor, not in the sense that restoration guys do anyway. I have fixed some up and maintained them, but always kind of upgraded some things generally.

Picked this 87 up a few weeks ago. Getting started on cleaning her up. I'm not doing a full restoration, just gonna slap some fresh paint on and put her to work. I'll slowly chip away at the small stuff as I go.

Rainbow is a nice touch, it may just take a pot o' gold, looks like a tired horse. BTW, I've heard that before, and when all done, it's darn near a full restoration.
